My name is Paul Linzey and my wife is Linda Linzey. We have three grown sons, eight grandchildren, and a Beagle named Sophie.
After serving as a pastor in Southern California, I went into the Army as a chaplain. Now retired from the military, I’m focusing on writing, speaking, and mentoring in a variety of settings.
My education includes a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA; a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA; a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Tampa; and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Skills from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA.
I taught part-time for several years in the Barnett College of Ministry and Theology at Southeastern University, and now teach full-time in the Department of Humanities, where we’re implementing a brand new Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
I enjoy playing Racquetball and Table Tennis, and watching Football and Basketball. Other interests include movies and plays, photography, travel, music, and people.
