We’d sit and talk and laugh while listening to music. Then, after spending some time on pleasantries, we’d focus in on a few serious matters: issues that are important to you. Perhaps we can do that anyway. Grab something to drink, then come back, and we’ll get acquainted.

By the way, a few years ago I did a Bible study through the New Testament book of Romans, and really liked verse two of chapter 12, where St. Paul writes, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” When translating the passage, I discovered that the word “transformed” is the English rendition of the Greek word μεταμορφουσθε, which is where we get the word “metamorphosis.” This led me to research a variety of animals and insects that experience metamorphosis, and helped me understand how we grow, change, and become the people God wants us to be. I’ve loved butterflies ever since, which is the reason for the butterfly in the header above.

Thanks for visiting. I hope to hear from you soon.
