This novel is a combination mystery, thriller, suspense, place-based fiction. It is historically based, international in scope, spans multiple generations, and includes themes of trust, fear, greed, love, envy, and faith.
After completing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Tampa, Paul wrote several nonfiction books which can be seen by clicking the Nonfiction button above. Writing fiction started with a collection of flash fiction short stories titled Getting it Twisted, written with one of his sons, and another flash fiction anthology with all three of his sons, titled Echoes from the Same House. Bekker’s Burial is his first novel, and he is already planning book two in the series.
